Why The Restaurant Scenes Seem Fake & Staged In ‘Real Housewives’?

The audience is very well aware that reality shows are not completely real. They have a lot of scripted parts in it and a lot of scenes are manifested for the entertainment of the audience. And, as long as it is entertaining the audience, things are good. People have often noticed that certain parts of ‘Real Housewives’ franchise seem fake.

Especially the restaurant scenes where the housewives meet to discuss important issues. The ‘Real Housewives’ are always making lunch and brunch dates where they can discuss and talk what’s going on their and their peers’ lives. However, these scenes do not seem so true considering the background.

The reason is that it seems a little made-up because they are made up. Not all pat of it, but the background. The stars cannot use the restaurants and cafes while the entire public is there. It makes the entire shooting difficult. Mostly, the makers blur and tone down the background.

Rest of the times, the makers make appointments with the restaurants during their off-hours. Getting these permissions are not even easy. So, the stars come to these places when public is not present. They usually have lunch around 10 in the morning when no one is present in the restaurant. That is why, it seems ‘fake’ and made up.
