VMA Nominations Biggest Snubs

Miley Cyrus has been a VMA prodigy for a few years now so it comes as a great surprise that she was not nominated in a single category. Her ‘Nothing Breaks Like A Heart’ could surely have made in the VMA nominations list. Joining the snub list is, of course, Madonna! While the singer is legendary, her recent albums have not made much on the charts.

However, her ‘God Control’ that talks about gun control in America truly deserved an acknowledgment for the hot topic. Katy Perry is another star that makes in the snub list. Her 365 might not have been great audio but was definitely a brilliant video. The robot that fell in love and got its heartbroken only to restart again is a great plot of another ‘Black Mirror’ episode that!

And lastly, when we are acknowledging the biggest snubs of VMA nominations – why was FKA Twigs not nominated? Her music might be exclusive but the video for Cellophane was stunning beyond a doubt. Did you even watch that pole dance?? And, the entire technicalities that gave the video a dream-like impression was amazing. We believe FKA Twigs deserved nominations in the mainstream categories as well!
