Tristan Thompsan is on a roller coaster which going just up and up these days. Shortly after signing a $19 million dollar deal with the Boston Celtics, Tristan sworn in as an American citizen earlier this week.
Tristan was originally from Canada and came to America on a student visa in 2009 to study at the University of Texas. He studied there for only a year before joining NBA draft.
Tristan says, “I came to the U.S. on a student visa and have always had big dreams. I’m now truly living the American dream.”
Thompson began his professional career in basketball in 2011 with Cleveland Cavaliers; he played for them for nine seasons.
