The Masked Singer Plot
The Masked Singer has a format different from the rest of the reality shows. Like most of the music competitions where the singers come in, sing, and the judges vote, The Masked Singer follows the same concept.
The only difference is, the celebrities in The Masked Singer wear a costume and a mask that completely hide their identity. Yes! You cannot guess who the celeb singing in front of you is because they are behind a bizarre-looking dress and a mask.
The celebrities perform the cover of some famous songs and they are introduced with their made-up stage name and traits for which they are famous. The people and judges have to guess the celebrities with the given hints as their identity is never revealed. There is a very tight security setting to keep the identities of the contestant hidden at all possible times. As per the judges’ vote, the lowest scoring contestant is eliminated. After the elimination, the real identity of the contestant is revealed.

The lowest rank holders were then out through a final voting round. The eleventh and twelfth rounds had eight remaining contestants. They were further divided into two groups of four into pairs. Again the lowest scorers of the pair would compete in the elimination round. After final eliminations, the masks were removed. In the finale, there were three contestants to fight for the trophy.
