We informed you earlier that NBC had announced Saved By The Bell reboot in 2019. Recently, the teaser of Saved By The Bell dropped on Peacock and it is everything we could have hoped for. While the show does not look anything like it did almost 3 decades ago, it still is causing all the buzz.
The sequel of Saved By The Bell on Peacock will be set 30 years later from where the original show left us. Mark-Paul Gosselaar will reprise the role of Zack Morris, who is now the governor of California. He has made the decision to close down many small schools and merge a low-income school with Bayside High.
Elizabeth Lauren reprises her role as Jessie Spano, who is now the guidance counselor of Bayside High. In one scene, she is hilariously telling the side-effects of caffeine pills to one of the students in the school. Mario Lopez will once again be seen as Slater, who is now the gym teacher at Bayside. Interestingly, Jack and Kelly’s kid also studies at Bayside now.
Among the newer cast, we have Josie Totah in the lead along with Dexter Darden, and Mitchell Hoog. The new influx of students will create an amazing dynamics of different socio-economic groups. And this, will be the major element of fun in the show!
