Rose McGowan has joined the #MeToo and accused Alexandar Payne of sexual harassment. Rose McGowan was 15-year-old when the alleged incident happened. McGowan revealed it on August 17, 2020 on Twitter and said that Alexander would have been in his 20s.
She tweeted that director Alexander Payne called Rose McGowan at his apartment in Silverlake. There he played an adult video in front of the actresses that he had directed under a pseudo name. Later, he left Rose on the streets. Rose McGowan says that she does not intend to destroy anybody’s reputation or career but she just wants an apology.
Rose explained that she was way too young to understand what really happened with her. She said that she was extremely traumatized and quit acting for years. This is not the first time Rose has come forward with the allegations. In 2018, she had revealed her story and stated that a ‘famous man’ took her home, showed her porn, had sex with her, and left her on street.
She had said that she will reveal his name when she’s ready. Alexander Payne is an Academy Winning director of ‘Sideways’, ‘The Descendants’ and ‘Landscapers’. Rose McGowan finally feels that it’s time Payne’s name came out in open.
