‘The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ star Denise Richards is opening up about the time she spent with her ex-husband, Charlie Sheen. Charlie and Denise were married from 2002 to 2006. During the courtship, Denise had spent a lot of night at Charlie’s home but, when she moved in, things were different.
For starters, everything was jet black. From marbles to walls and counters to carpets, everything was black and Denise decided to adjust with it in time. And, she says she did. However, something even more peculiar in the house was Charlie’s need for safety. Denise says that there were a lot of ‘strange’ features in the house for the protection purpose.
The bedroom door was bulletproof. There was a fire pole in the closet in case someone needed an emergency exit. It was the same exit from where one of Richards’ cats died. Richards says that the cat’s death did not affect Charlie as it did to her. On the bright side, however, Denise says that she loved the fact that she was absolutely safe at Sheen’s place.
If Richards has to change anything in the house, she says it wouldn’t have been the decor even though it had bachelor pad vibes. She says that she wished the place had more warmth to it. She says that she had no problem in adjust despite Charlie’s and other people’s doubts. She is good with moving on as she finds it healthy.
