Megan Thee Stallion and Cardi B announced the big news of their collaboration on their social media pages. Their new collaborated single, WAP will release on August 7, 2020, and they announced this news on August 3, 2020. The singers posted a still teaser of the single where they look completely identical.
Their hair is styled in the same manner with the same knot. They both are donning a big hoop earring with WAP written on it and both have their tongues out extendedly.
This can be a good move on Megan’s part as recently she has received a lot of publicity and that too not just for her music.
Megan Thee Stallion Shooting
The internet broke crazy when the news of Megan Thee Stallion getting shot circulated. It all started when Megan Thee Stallion and Tory Lanez attended a party on July 12, 2020. The party was organized by Kylie Jenner and according to sources, a feud broke involving Tory and Megan. Witnesses claim that Tory, Megan, and a third person left the party in an SUV and it was because of the fight.
Sometime later, the car was stopped and the cops got involved. The entire fiasco was recorded on a video that went viral on the internet. Tory Lanez was handcuffed right on the spot and thought it looked like Megan was held by the officers, she wasn’t! It was clear from the video that her foot was injured. People assumed that it was due to the glasses shattered on the SUV’s floor.
However, Megan Thee Stallion came forward and cleared the air with her official statement. She announced that she was not arrested or handcuffed by the cops. In fact, she was taken to the hospital by them because she was shot on her foot.
Did Tory Shoot Megan Thee Stallion
As soon as Megan Thee Stallion revealed that she was shot, fans went out of control. They wanted to know who shot Megan and they wanted to know it ASAP. Megan also wrote on her Instagram account that the shooting was a blessing in disguise for her. Although she feels sad that it took such a terrible experience to open her eyes.
Megan Thee Stallion said that she had to undergo surgeries to get multiple bullets removed from her feet. Many celebrities like Skai Jackson came forward to give their condolences and best wishes to the rapper.
However, Megan did not officially reveal who actually shot her. But, it is believed that it was Tory Lanez who shot Megan Thee Stallion and as a repercussion, he might get deported.
Why Tory Shot Megan Thee Stallion?
Megan Thee Stallion and Tory Lanez had been allegedly dating for some time before the accident. During the time of the accident, Tory and Megan got into a massive fight. While some witnesses claim that Megan wanted to break up with Tory that infuriated him, some say that was not the case. On the contrary, some people report that it was Megan who became violent in the first place.
Apparently, Lanez was flirting with Jenner that infuriated Megan badly. Whatever be the case, it does not justify anyone to try and harm someone intentionally – that too with a gun!
Is Tory Being Deported?
Ever since the shooting episode and the video that went viral, the news has surfaced that Tory Lanez is being deported to Canada. He is currently living in his hometown and has refused to speak anything on the matter. Whether the news of his deportation is true or not, is yet to be revealed. However, it won’t be the first time when Tory has got legal attention.
He was also involved in starting a nasty riot in Texas once that got him in trouble with the officers. FYI, apparently, were also speculating whether they want to continue their association with Tory.
However, the official statement of FYI says that the speculation is simply a rumor that they do not support.
