Marvel’s ‘Kraven The Hunter’ Movie Might Score J.C. Chandor As For Director

J.C. Chandor is being considered for the director’s chair for Sony’s movie based on ‘Kraven the Hunter’. J.C. Chandor is known for movies like ‘Margin Call. ‘All Is Lost’, and ‘A Most Violent Year’. He also released ‘Triple Frontier’ recently that starred Ben Affleck, Oscar Isaac, Charlie Hunnam, and Pedro Pascal.

‘Kraven the Hunter’ is one of the most prominent villain from the ‘Spider-Man’ world. If the movie is green-lit then it would become the third Spider-Man villain oriented movie. The first two being ‘Venom’ and ‘Morbius’. ‘Kraven the Hunter’ is one of the best-known archenemies of Spider-Man.

Kraven The Hunter

The villainous character is so formidable that even Ryan Cooger wanted him in ‘Black Panther’. Kraven the Hunter is the half-brother of ‘Chameleon’ (another archenemy of Spidy). His real name is Sergei Kravinoff and he is obsessed with capturing Spider-Man.

‘Kraven the Hunter’ was introduced in 1964 in The Amazing Spider-Man #15 by Stan Lee. However, his most famous story-line (and the plot of movie) is ‘Kraven’s Last Hunt’. He has a final battle with Peter Parker and reveals that Sergie was a Russian aristocrat who witnessed the Russian Revolution. The plot is considered as one of the best story-lines of the Spidey World.
