‘I Like To Move It’ DJ, Erick Morillo, Dies At 49

DJ Erick Morillo, famous for his 1993 song, ‘I Like To Move It’ is dead at the age f 49. The reason for the death is not clear yet but Morillo’s body was found at the Miami Beach. The Miami Beach Police Department says that there’s no evidence to point at any foul play.

A medical examiner will soon get into the case and declare the cause of death. Erick Morillo was renowned for his work in field of international house music. His 90s famous track, ‘I Like To Move It’ was a grand success and he released it under his stage name, Reel 2 Real.

Erick Morillo was a celebrated DJ with many awards under his name. He was awarded as the Best House DJ not once or twice, but three times. He was also the winner of Best International DJ. Again, not just once or twice, but three times with the most recent one being in 2009.

Morillo was arrested for sexual harassment and abuse a few weeks earlier in Miami. The victim claimed that they went home after DJing. Morillo approached the victim sexually but she refused to go ahead with it. However, when she woke up, she was in compromising position with Erick.
