‘Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone’ Enters $1 Billion Club After 2 Decades

The magic of Harry Potter does not seem to diminish in the slightest. Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone has entered the $1 billion club at the box office. All thanks to its re-release in China. The post-COVID-19 scenes in China looks completely lit as the 4K 3D release of the movie is entertaining all the viewers there.

The original release of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone was almost two decades ago. The franchise gave Hollywood some supremely talented artists like Emma Watson, Daniel Radcliffe, and Rupert Grint.

The movie features Harry Potter, his best friends Hermoine and Ron and their adventures in the magical world. They study in the magical school, Hogwarts, and are fighting the biggest ‘dark wizard’ of all time – Voldemort. The re-release of the movie has made Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone the second Harry Potter movie to cross $1 billion mark.


The first one ‘Harry Potter & Deathly Hollows II’, which is the last part of Harry Potter movies. China has also released Christopher Nolan’s ‘Inception’ to attract more audience to theaters. China is also planning to soon re-release Star Wars, Black Panther, Ghistbusters, Bloodshot, and many more blockbusters.
