We might have lost Elvis Presley but the legendary artist still lives in his fans’ hearts. A candlelight vigil was held at Elvis’ Graceland estate where hundreds of fans paid their respect. They came to honor the 43rd death anniversary of Elvis Presley and pay tribute at his gravesite.
There were almost 720 fans and they left flowers, cards, photos fr their idol. All the necessary precautions were taken in regards of the current situation. The event was more like a ticketed vigil where only the ones following protocols were allowed.
People arrived at the rendezvous were asked to wear masks and maintain the required distance. Groups of only six or below were allowed at the site and they had walk at a proper distance. There were officers assigned so to make sure people were abiding by the rules and no unnecessary crowd was forming at a distance.
There are more events organized, like drive-in Elvis movie, in to celebrate the late singer. Elvis died at the mere age of 42 with a heart attack, which means his has been dead for longer than he lived. Elvis is an iconic name in the music industry as even John Lennon once said that before Elvis Presley, there was nothing!
