The last two seasons of ‘The Crown’ are all set to reveal the final twists and turns. The major one of them being, Elizabeth Debicki will play Princess Diana in the last two seasons of ‘The Crown’.
The news has been officially announced by the social media handles of the series. Elizabeth Debicki will be replacing Emma Corrin on the show. We can deduce that Debicki will be playing Princess Diana from before her marriage to Prince Charles till her death.
Talking about the role, Elizabeth Debicki says that she is extremely excited about playing Princess Diana. She says that Princess Diana’s beauty, words, and spirit is still alive in everybody’s hearts. She expresses that she feels privileged to perform such a powerful character like that of People’s Princess.
In the last two seasons, Elizabeth Debicki will be joined by Imelda Staunton, who will be playing Queen Elizabeth. Lesley Manville will play Princess Margaret and Jonathan Pryce will play Prince Philip. The stars cast for the role of Prince Charles and Princess Anne is yet to be revealed.
