BTS released its first complete English album, Dynamite, and fans have gone crazy! They are listening to it on loop so much that it has broken all records ever. BTS Dynamite earned 101.1 million views on YouTube in just a single day. It is the highest one-day jump in the view count on YouTube’s history.
BTS Dynamite premiere was also record breaking (obviously). More than 3 million viewers tuned in to watch the release of the album. It is also the highest count in the entire history of YouTube. Coming to Spotify net, the count insanely high, no doubt, but complicated as well.
On Spotify, BTS Dynamite certainly holds a record as the highest listened to K-Pop album in a day. Overall, it earned 7.78 million streams in 24 hours, beating Taylor Swift’s ‘Cardigan’ with 7.74 million. However, here’s the tricky part. If you do not filter the streaming count, then BTS Dynamite was played more than 10 million times in 24 hours!
Till August 24, Dynamite has garnered 12.6 million playcount and made record in Spotify for 2020. According to Spotify, there has been no inflation in the playcount like 2018. In 2018, BTS ‘Love Yourself’ faced extreme love when its fan base distributed 1000 Spotify logins! However, Spotify confirms it’s not the case this time.
