He says that it was the first American movie that he was absolutely unsure of. He also jokingly said that Ryan Reynolds can never replace him as Wolverine.
Hugh Jackman, while on ‘Good Morning America’ revealed that his friends had zero confidence in his role. They had warned him about the character’s potential failure. In fact, Hugh was looking for other jobs in L.A. as a backup plan if his superhero character fails. However, X-Men became one of the most successful superhero movie franchise. He says that it still surprises him that he has played the character nine time altogether. When he was asked who would he have as his replacement, Hugh Jackman shouted, ‘not Ryan Reynolds!’. The two actors have been humorously been feuding for years now.
